Background
The journey of Albania’s modern urban transformation (and not only) is closely related to 1992, like much of its most late 20th century contemporary history. The end of a centralized system marked the beginning of an all-encompassing reform sweeping across all sectors simultaneously, catalyzing fast physical changes on the ground.
